San Alfonso del Mar

Take a look at this wonderful "pool" at San Alfonso Del Mar, Algarrobo, Chile!
Looks like a paradise beach to me!
The pool is 1013 meters long, and is powered by a computer controlled filtration & suction which continually sucks water from the ocean, and filtering it so it is crystal clear!

The pool holds around 250 million liters of seawater

WOW!

The pool reaches out 34 meters from the "shore"

The Pool cost around $2 million to build, and about $4 million a year just for maintenance, but the investment looks like its paying off as it has been attracting huge crowds of curious tourists since it opened in December 2007

Not far from Mexico.. Hmm.. maybe I should take a trip!
